Association of Illustrators (AOI) is having an exhibition in partnership with London Transport Museum (LTM). This exhibition will be based on the theme of ‘A View of London’ – illustrations celebrating the vibrancy of present day London. I have entered my own image promoting cycling in the city trying to encourage more to participate. Check the link out for more details about entering.

Just to let you know I've got another exhibition running at Waterstones In the top gallery called "View Nottingham" featuring more of the series of pubs. It starts on the 11th-21st of March.

I have two exhibition going on around the same time one started on the 5th of march at the Maltcross pub in Nottingham and the other starts 11th of march in Waterstones in Nottingham too.
Both exhibitions are celebrating Nottingham as a cultural cornerstone.
Having worked in a bar now for a couple of years I see first hand the importance pubs have on social life. It is the social bedrock of our culture and with as many as 27 pubs closing every week nationally the pub is an endangered species. I have created some illustrations to emphasize this decline, however I have also focused on the positives that the pub can bring and how it is more than just a business, and it’s the heart of the community. By drawing we immortalize our subjects and hopefully in regards to the pub I can do the same.
