Bit of a random post but if a praying mantis was to play any musical instrument what would it be and why? Any Suggestions?

I would love to say that my answer is backed up by years of scientific research on the mantis, however just looking at the creature it would look pretty funny playing the harp with its "praying" like limbs plucking. Also more logical reasoning is that most mantises are ambush predators, waiting for prey to stray too near. Basically the mantis would lull the audience of hundreds in the Royal Albert Hall(by this time he is big time and he's got a sell out tour) into a sense of harmony and bliss than when they were mesmerised by the mantises masterful plucking on the harp he would then strike, unleashing his ferocity.

It's one of the golden rules of the natural world – birds live in trees, fish live in water.
The trouble is, no one bothered to tell the mangrove killifish. Their gills are altered to retain water and nutrients, while they excrete nitrogen waste through their skin. This enables them to live in trees! Just imagine if your walking along a river bed or the sea side and you witnessed the journey from the water into the tree. I just wonder when in terms of evolution did it decide "hang on a minute trees are better".

I like to say a quick hello from me and welcome to my Illustration blog(exciting). So what is "Edward Bowness Illustration"? This blog will contain short stories and illustration from my everyday life. So basically current affairs in the world or local news that might tickle me, annoy me or simply merit a response from me. I will do my best to make it appear as often as I possibly can.
